Having completed the Three Peaks Race and our cruising programme on the West Coast of Scotland we are offering the opportunity for the more adventurous sailor to join Roland on the return sail to Neyland.

We will meet on Saturday July 30th at Oban with an early departure on Sunday morning, looking forward to some potentially testing sailing over the next six days, covering some 350 - 400 Nm.

There will be plenty of opportunity for folk to try their hand at skippering Lucky T on several passages of over 60Nm and clearly we will experience plenty of night sailing.

Our route will remain entirely flexible and will be chosen by careful analysis of the forecast, but we intend sailing East of Ireland! Possible stopovers include Islay, Belfast Loch, Strangford Loch, Isle of Man, Dublin, North Wales, Aberystwyth, Fishguard.

The week will undoubtedly provide a good mix of sailing conditions given that the prevailing wind will not be in our favour. With this in mind, the week would not suit those beginning their sailing careers, or indeed, those looking for a relaxing holiday cruise – but if you’re up for a challenge and a good laugh we would be delighted to hear from you.
