JEANNEAU SUN ODYSSEY 44 DS
Launched in 2011, the 44DS from Jeanneau is the latest innovation from the Jeanneau Yard. Making its debut at Southampton International Boat show, designers Franck Darnet & Flahault together with the Jeanneau team have produced a sail boat that is quite simply a joy to sail. A change to the coach roof lines thus lowering the roof gives improved vision from the helm. Control of the main sail is led back to the twin helm position using the German mainsheet system. This system is perfect for shorthanded sailing. Jeanneau have cleverly retained the internal ergonomics taking them to another level. Moving from the large cockpit to the saloon and galley you get a great feeling of space and light. Clever design takes the visual width of this yacht out to the edge of the hull. Lighting is by ultra-low powered L.E.D. lamps which add to the feeling of space in this comfortable mid-range yacht. This is a large Yacht that can be handled easily by one person out at sea. Available with 360 Docking, a child could put this boat on its berth with this revolutionary docking system.
